Delete your data
Last updated: October 29, 2026
Morse Machine Next is provided by One Small Step Apps Ltd. The app does not require an account. Your learning progress, scores, goals, settings and consent choices are stored on your device. Firebase Analytics and Crashlytics are optional and can receive technical data only after you enable them separately.
Stop future collection and remove data from your device
- In the app, open Settings → Privacy & Data and turn off Analytics and Crashlytics. The Crashlytics change may take effect on the next app launch.
- Uninstall the app to remove its local data from that device. This does not delete data already sent to Firebase. Android system backups may retain a restorable copy if you have enabled backup; you can manage those backups in your Google account and device settings.
You can make a deletion request even if you have already uninstalled the app. You do not need to reinstall it.
Request deletion of data already sent
Email andrea@onesmallstepapps.com with the subject “Morse Machine Next – data deletion”. Tell us whether you are asking about Analytics data, Crashlytics reports, or both. Do not send passwords or sensitive device logs.
Because the app has no account, your email address is not linked to the pseudonymous identifiers used by Firebase. We will review what can be identified and deleted from the information available, and explain if we cannot match a record to your request. Turning off collection or uninstalling the app does not erase records already received by Firebase.
What is removed or retained
- Local app data: Progress, scores, goals, settings and consent choices are removed from the device when you uninstall. A separate Android system backup may remain and may restore data after reinstallation.
- Analytics, if enabled: Usage events and a pseudonymous app instance ID may have been sent to Google Analytics. We will process deletion requests for records we can identify. User-level event data otherwise follows the property's retention setting: up to 14 months. Aggregated reports may remain after user-level data expires.
- Crashlytics, if enabled: Crash reports and associated installation identifiers may have been sent to Firebase. We will review deletion requests for identifiable records. Firebase retains crash reports and associated identifiers for 90 days before beginning removal from its live and backup systems.
- Account data: None. The app has no account and does not upload your learning progress to our servers.
For details about what the app collects and when, read the Privacy Policy.
